After a close 3-2 victory against DCG, SHG top laner Evi had an interview with Yahoo! Taiwan
Yahoo: In the first game today, you picked Rek’Sai. Why did you choose her on this patch?
SHG Evi: Because I think she is very strong!
Yahoo: Today, you faced DCG’s top laner, Taco again for the second “Seafood Battle” [ebi 🦐 means shrimp, and tako 🐙 means octopus in Japanese]. You solo killed him multiple times. Can we say that “shrimp is indeed stronger than octopus”?
SHG Evi: That’s right, shrimp is just stronger!
Yahoo: You’ve had an intense series, so how would you rate your own and your team’s performance?
SHG Evi: I’m really happy we got the win in the end and I can relax a little now. But I didn’t want to go to 5 games, it’s not good for the heart. As for the team’s performance, we started to lose our focus the longer the series went.
Yahoo: It’s been two years since you’ve competed on the international stage. Are you ready to return to Worlds?
SHG Evi: We haven’t secured our Worlds spot yet, so we’re staying focused on the matches in front of us. If we do get the chance to compete at Worlds, it would be incredibly exciting and prove that we’re the strongest team in Japan.
